Overview

Berlin will host the world’s largest food festival in February 2023, featuring 50+ food stylists from diverse cultures and 900 booths citywide.

Expected to boost February tourism by 15–20%, it’s set to be a culinary and cultural highlight.

Role

I led the UX process for the world's largest food festival app, focusing on understanding the needs and pain points of attendees, tourists, and food vendors. Using surveys, interviews, and observations, I identified key user needs, including food discovery, event scheduling, and easy navigation.

Scenario: Amelia Angel  
Amelia flies from Munich to Berlin for a 3-day trip to visit LEGOLAND with her two Lego-loving sons. Due to her sensitivity, she discovered a local food festival and needed to plan her arrival and find gluten-free food options.
