Overview
Blueprint Solutions is a cloud-based audiology office management system used worldwide.
The redesign of Blueprint Solutions aimed to enhance the patient summary screen by improving usability, streamlining categories, boosting documentation motivation, and creating a more intuitive experience for audiologists.
Challenge
Providing audiologists with quick insights, increasing documentation motivation, and improving workflow efficiency.
Blueprint Solutions' previous patient summary screen faced usability challenges such as a cluttered interface, poor data organization, outdated design with weak visual hierarchy, inefficient workflows that impacted customer care, and a lack of staff motivation to complete documentation.
Solution
The redesign focused on:

Streamlined Information Hierarchy
The new design improves patient care with a clear hierarchy, intuitive interface, reduced text overload, and user-friendly microcopy.

Repartition of the patient details screen
The old design scattered related patient information across different sections, and mixed functional elements like financial details and medical history, reducing workflow efficiency. The new design streamlines the interface by grouping related categories—such as financial overview, appointments, and audiogram results—into a more intuitive layout.
Patient identity information was consolidated into one unit, with essential details added for staff and direct action for sending emails.
The patient's behavior definition was grouped under a new "Status" category, providing quick access to program details, insurance, and health services.
Doctors can now access patient information and previous appointment records with ease thanks to expanded documentation options.
A secondary navigation pane was introduced to unify three key categories—latest medical examination, ancillary aids, and appointments—into one display unit, allowing doctors to access critical patient information effortlessly.

Increasing Motivation for Full Documentation of Clinic Employees
The new design features a modern interface with clear action buttons, visual indicators, and a neat note-taking system, making documentation easier, more intuitive, and more rewarding.

The new design is visually appealing, embracing a modern and dynamic look with a soft color palette and clear call-to-action buttons. Intuitive icons and a well-structured layout enhance the user experience, making navigation seamless, reinforcing the reliability and professionalism of the system while improving overall efficiency.
